With a good mix of bravado and hatred for the communications industry, Craig started his first company, Emerging Media, at 26. Within two years Craig had landed a series of blue-chip clients within the technology sector including Google, Oracle, Shuttleworth Foundation and Symantec.
In 2010, Craig merged his business with Cerebra, the leading social media communication agency in South Africa, to form a powerful full service communications agency that covered both traditional and social media communications. Craig now heads up Cerebra and is responsible for clients such as Vodacom, Nedbank, Toyota and Woolworths, to name but a few of the most talked about online brands in the country.
Beyond Cerebra, Craig co-founded a niche print publishing company in 2008 focusing on two titles within the health and wellness industry. Craig is also a founding member of Africa’s largest podcasting company, Split Infinitive, which is responsible for a number of leading podcasts from technology to sport.
Craig is a regular on the speaker circuit covering topics ranging from communications and the impact of social technologies, to technology in Africa and the economics of expectations.
In 2011, Craig was voted one of the forty most influential South Africans under the age of 40.
